  8. In your opinion what's the best ROM for this phone? I know it has some issues with alerts (like whatsapp, sms, or email's). Do you know one that can solve them?

  9. List is a bit out of date again my good sir. So far I have tried CM7.1 Beta very good as usual but lacking fingerprint and webtop as of time of this post, but as it is obviously just a port of the same ROM that has been about a while I got bored of it. Also it has no moto blur this is up to each individual's opinion as to a pro or con.

I have tried Star Wars themed custom ROM its pretty good still has blur and custom kernel with OC processor options of 1.1Ghz or 1.3Ghz.

I am now trying Aura GB it has 3 versions one with all "bloat" one with everything removed and one with everything removed except motoblur. Also has the OC kernel. I shall post my opinions once tested if folk think this is helpful?

  10. The alien is the best. However, the batter consumption is actually too high. I am expecting a rom where it can allow me to set to lower clock speed to improve my battery. Now if i had to browse youtube continuously for 4 hours, the batter is almost 30%. Quite disappointing. Someone develop a ROM whether the maximum battery is achieved.

  11. Please update rom list. Also, CM7 nightlies have started and stable builds are also being developed by Atrix-Dev-Team

  12. Very good post. I have a installed CyanogenMod 7. What do you recommend? Do I stop that or change it to another?

  13. Honestly, I haven't switched to CM7 yet. I'm waiting to see if Ice Cream Sandwich comes out of the CM version. The Stable versions on xda from the Atrix Dev Team are supposed to be very nice and smooth. A CM7 beta is on the development section with ICS transitions and more is you are looking for that functionality. If you want a stable non-CM7 for the atrix, go with Darkside.

  14. Cm7 is my personal favorite. I do keep a backup of Alien strictly for the hdmi options. The lack of hdmi support is the only thing I don't like about cyanogen but I rarely use it. Apparently the fingerprint scanner doesn't work but I don't use it so no problem there. I've tried all the other ones briefly and didn't care for them. Star wars looks cool... I had issues with Aura telling me my phone wasn't rooted. One last thought, it would be amazing to have a list of kernels in the same place as this or XDA's rom list. ( CM9 SHOULD be coming anytime with our tasty Ice Cream Sandwich (: )
