Oppo R1C is the first smartphone launched by the company this year of 2015. The most prominent feature of this phone is the back cover, which comes with Sapphire glass panel. However, it's a bit strange to note that no info were given about the front panel, either it is also Sapphire or not. The body was beautifully crafted into a thickness of just 6.85mm. The screen uses LTPS (low temperature polysilicon) LCD technology, with 5" 720p panel. It is powered by the mid-range Snapdragon 615 octa-core chipset, with 2GB of RAM. It got 16GB of build in memory plus with expendable microSD slot up to 128GB. The rear camera was from Sony at 13MP f/2.0 aperture, plus 5MP front facing camera. This phone will be powered by 2,420mAh battery with ColorOS 2.0.1 (android 4.4) UI baked in. It is priced at 2499 RMB ($403)
