Samsung Z1, the first official TizenOS-based phone, was launched today in India for a mere INR 5,700 ($92). Nothing much to say about the spec of the phone, as this is a low-end budget phone. It is powered by Spreadtrum SC7727S, a dual-core Cortex-A7 chipset running at 1.2GHz, coupled with 768MB of RAM. It got a 4" 480x800px PLS LCD (Samsung proprietary IPS-contender). Camera wise, 3.15MP on the rear plus a VGA shooter up front.
#andrdcndy note: Samsung should have produced a better well-rounded phone as their first official TizenOS device. The specs for this phone is really a spec for a two year old device. Look at what had happened to their previous BadaOS, got nowhere really. Learn the lesson.
